Indelible’s name, inspired by the way the poet Hilda Doolittle (H.D.) used it in her poem Trilogy, refers to inerasable ink, which is a metaphor for the power of words. The journal, therefore, seeks to publish works from distinguished writers and artists with strong voices and literary/artistic convictions that represent diverse interests and aesthetic styles. Each themed semi-annual issue, which is edited and managed by English department faculty and student members at AUD, presents an eclectic set of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, reviews, interviews, op-eds, and art.
