Abstract: Interior Design has played a crucial role in impacting directly to the human life through the spatial organization and enhancing the environment to satisfy human social, psychological and emotional needs. As demonstrated in the dissertation, the design has contributed greatly to change of human behavior through the transformation of space. The research succinctly illustrates the need for a detoxification centre with an improved design. Unlike a rehab, the proposed detoxification center will provide comfort drug alcohol addicts and transform their lives. This research thesis exemplifies the significance of the detoxification centre in diluting drug components in the body tissues of addicts. A key insight is provided on the functionality of the centre in providing treatment and empowerment to its clients. The research is divided into four chapters, each chapter focusing on independent but interdependent ideas creating fluency and consistency in the paper
